目的もなく、混乱したり退屈な感じで長々と話したり書いたりすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

カジュアルでやや否定的。話が長すぎたり脱線した時によく使う。「just ramble on about...」の形で特定の話題についての長話も表現できる。フォーマルには向かない。
