어떤 모임이나 행사에 잠깐 들러서 본인이 왔음을 알리는 것.

공식적이거나 약간 유머러스하게 사용됩니다. 본인이 별로 내키지 않아도 의무감으로 잠깐만 참석할 때 쓰입니다. 평범한 방문에는 사용하지 않습니다.
