心理的な駆け引きで相手を不安にさせたり、自信を失わせたりすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にスポーツやゲームなど競争の場面で使われるインフォーマルな表現。「He tried to psych me out before the exam」のように使われる。時には冗談半分の場合もあり、必ずしも悪意があるとは限らない。
