Definition

남을 속이기 위해 일부러 자신이 아닌 다른 사람인 척 행동하는 것.

주로 속임수나 범죄 상황에서 사용됨. 'police officer인 척하다'처럼 의도적으로 남을 속일 때 많이 씀. 단순히 흉내 내기와는 다름.

He tried to pose as a doctor to get into the hospital.
