他人を騙すために、自分が別の人や職業のふりをすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に騙す目的で意図的に使う表現。「警察官のふりをする」など犯罪行為でよく用いられる。単なる「真似する」とは異なるニュアンス。
