Definition
誰かや何かを素早く、またはこっそり捕まえたり取ったりすること。警察が逮捕する場合にも使う、くだけた表現です。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
カジュアルな会話やニュースの見出しでよく使われます。「素早く席を取る」「警察が犯人を捕まえる」などで使い、フォーマルな書き言葉には向きません。単なる「取る」より素早さや意外性を含みます。
