Definition

何かや誰かに近づく、または場所・目標・考えに向けて進むこと。

物理的にも比喩的にも使える（目標達成など）。急速な動き보다는、徐々に進むニュアンスが強い。「move toward a solution」＝「解決に向かって進む」など、後ろに目的語が来る場合が多い。
