무언가를 재미있거나 대충 장난스럽게 만지거나 바꾸는 행동을 뜻함.

비격식적이며 농담조로 자주 쓰임. 'monkeying around'는 진지하지 않거나 필요 없는 간섭을 뜻함. 기계나 상황에서 실수로 문제를 일으킬 때도 사용됨.
