কিছু দেখে বা শুনে এতটাই মোহিত হওয়া যে অন্য কিছু চিন্তা করা বা চোখ সরানো সম্ভব হয় না।

'Mesmerized' সাধারণত ইতিবাচক কিছু দ্বারা আকৃষ্ট হওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'mesmerized by the performance'। নেতিবাচক ক্ষেত্রে নয়।
