Sentir-se tão interessado, impressionado ou atraído por algo que não consegue desviar o olhar ou pensar em outra coisa.

Usado em contextos formais e informais. Indica fascínio intenso e positivo, próximo de 'hipnotizado', mas sem ser literal. Costuma ser seguido por 'by' ('mesmerized by the show'). Não se usa normalmente para algo negativo.
