將某物加熱到從固體變成液體，或形容某人情緒失控，非常崩潰。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

字面可指金屬、蠟等熔化，口語上則常指情緒崩潰（have a meltdown）。情緒用法較為口語。“melt”只指物理變化，“melt down”更強烈。
