Definition

周りに迷惑をかけないように、または聞かれないように、声の音量を下げて話すこと。通常、丁寧に頼むときに使います。

主に近い人や子どもに使われ、他人に対しては失礼になりがち。「小声で話す」「声を落とす」という表現もよく用いる。
