ある話題や事柄に意図的に触れず、他のことに集中することを表します。話や議論の流れを変えるときによく使います。

フォーマルな会話や文章でよく使います。'detailsを脇に置く'など他の事柄に集中したい時、丁寧に話題を避ける表現です。完全に無視する意味ではありません。
