誰かを『連れて』いるとは、その人が自分と一緒にいて、通常は自分がリードしていたり、世話をしていたりする場合に使います。

ややカジュアルな表現で、子供や友人、ペットなどを連れて歩く時によく使います。「have」「arrive」「come」などの動詞とよく一緒に使われます。
