'Hand around' অনানুষ্ঠানিক এবং সাধারণত কাগজ বা নাশতা মতো জিনিসের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রায়ই 'hand around the room' শোনা যায়। 'Hand out' মানে শুধু বিলিয়ে দেওয়া—হাতে হাতে দেওয়া নয়।
