禁酒や悪い習慣をやめていた人が、再びその習慣に戻ることを指します。特にお酒の場合によく使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

カジュアルな表現で、特にお酒関連でよく使われます。ほかの悪い習慣にも使われることがありますが、ほぼ禁酒に対してです。「get back on the wagon」は再びやめるという意味です。実際の馬車には使いません。
