Definition

乗船や搭乗とは、船や飛行機へ乗り込む手続きや過程のことです。

フォーマルな場や、クルーズ・飛行機の場面で使われます。日常会話では「boarding」の方が一般的です。「embarkation point」や「embarkation time」と一緒に使われます。

The embarkation for the cruise starts at 2 p.m.

クルーズの**乗船**は午後2時に始まります。
