Definition

বৈজ্ঞানিক কল্পকাহিনীতে ব্যবহৃত শব্দ, যার দ্বারা পৃথিবী থেকে আসা মানুষ বোঝানো হয়, বিশেষত যখন তাদের এলিয়েন বা অন্য গ্রহের বাসিন্দাদের সঙ্গে তুলনা করা হয়।

'earthmen' পুরনো বা ক্লাসিক সাই-ফাইয়ে বেশি দেখা যায়। সাধারণ কথাবার্তায় প্রায় ব্যবহার হয় না। অনেক সময় রসিকতা বা বিদ্রূপার্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
