अधिकारिक आदेश या निर्देश, विशेषकर किसी प्राधिकरण द्वारा दिए गए, जो लोगों को बताते हैं कि क्या करना है। अक्सर कानूनी, संगठनात्मक या सरकारी संदर्भ में प्रयोग होते हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आमतौर पर एक से अधिक आदेशों के लिए बहुवचन में प्रयोग। औपचारिक, दफ्तर या सरकारी भाषा में आम। 'जारी करना', 'पालन करना', 'लागू करना' जैसे क्रियाओं के साथ आता है। 'दिशा-निर्देश' (suggestions) से अलग है, जो अनुशंसा हैं।
