複数の出来事や行動が同じ時間に起こること。重なって進行する場合に使われる。

主に技術的・法律的・学術的な文脈で使われるフォーマルな語。'concurrent users'や'concurrent sentences'などの表現がある。「consecutive（連続した）」とは異なり、同時進行のみを示す。
