Definition

जब छोटे वस्तुएँ, खासकर काँच या धातु, हल्के से टकराती हैं तो जो तीखी, छोटी और साफ आवाज़ आती है। अक्सर टोस्ट करते समय गिलास टकराने की आवाज़ के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

कहानी या विवरण में ज्यादा मिलता है, रोज़मर्रा की बोली में कम। खासकर टोस्ट के समय गिलास, सिक्के या चाबियों की आवाज़ के लिए। "clangs" (गहरा, भारी धातु स्वर) से भिन्न। "to clink" क्रिया के रूप में भी देखा जा सकता है।
