Definition

指導教員やアドバイザーから定期的に助言や指導を受ける学生などの人たちを指します。

主に学術、教育、メンタリングの文脈で使われる言葉です。「advisor/advisee relationship」や「my advisees」といった形で使われることが多いです。一般的な会話ではあまり使いません。

The professor met with her advisees every month.

教授は毎月、自分の**指導学生**と面談していた。

The advisor gave all her advisees the same information.

アドバイザーはすべての**指導学生**に同じ情報を伝えた。
