Definition

ある提案や議題について、集団や会議で正式に投票して決定を出すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'vote on a bill', 'vote on the plan' のように案件や提案について使う。会議や委員会などフォーマルな場面で使う。選挙で候補者に投票する場合には使わない。
