Definition
Expressar formalmente sua escolha ou decisão sobre algo, geralmente em grupo ou reunião. Usa-se ao tomar decisões coletivas votando a favor ou contra uma proposta, pessoa ou ideia.
Usage Notes (Portuguese (BR))
Usado com temas, propostas, planos, leis etc.: 'vote on a bill', 'vote on the plan'. Contextos formais ou oficiais, especialmente reuniões, comissões, governo. Não se usa para votar em candidatos ('vote for a candidate' é o correto).
