用繩子等牢牢地綁住某物或某人；也指讓某人很忙，無法做其他事。

“tie up” 既有字面（用繩子綁）又有引申義（讓人沒空做別的事）。口語常用“I'm tied up”表示“很忙”。不要和“tie”本身（領帶/打結/打和）混淆。
