相手が自分にしたのと同じように、特にその人の言葉や行動を使ってやり返すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に口論や否定的な状況で使う。'throw someone's words back at them' という表現がよくある。物理的に投げ返す 'throw back' とは異なる。
