쓸어 모으다

Definition

빗자루로 바닥이나 공간의 먼지와 쓰레기를 쓸어 모아 치우는 것. 때때로 어떤 것을 완전히 정리할 때도 쓴다.

일상적으로 자주 쓰는 표현이다. 단순히 쓸기보다는 '완전히 모아 치우다'의 뜻이 강조된다. 'sweep up after a party'처럼 정리의 의미가 강하다.

Please sweep up the crumbs after breakfast.

아침 먹고 나서 부스러기 좀 **쓸어 모아줘**.
