ギターやウクレレなどの弦楽器の弦を、指やピックで軽くすばやく弾いて演奏すること。

主にギターやウクレレなどでコードを弾く時に使う言葉です。一本ずつ弦を弾く「pluck」とは異なり、軽くリズミカルに演奏する印象です。「strum a guitar」などでよく使います。
