中心や物のまわりを円を描くように動いたこと。比喩的に、何かが特定のテーマや話題を中心に進んだ場合にも使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に科学的・正式な場面や機械、惑星などに使うが、「〜を中心に展開した」など比喩的にも使う。小さい/速い回転は「スピンする」と区別される。
