太鼓や似た楽器から鳴る、リズミカルで繰り返される打撃音を表します。詩的な表現や音楽の描写で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話ではほとんど使われませんが、文学や詩、音楽の描写で使われます。「drumのラタプラン」や「雨のラタプラン」のように音を表現する際に用いられます。
