Definition

一种礼貌的表达方式，表示你现在无法接受邀请，但希望下次再参加；最初指因雨延期活动时给的补票。

非正式表达，主要用于美式英语中。如“Can I take a raincheck?”，“I'll take a raincheck.”为礼貌推迟和希望以后再约。英式英语很少用，中文用“下次吧”“改天”表达相同意思。
