Birisiyle bir etkinlik veya görev için çift oluşturmak ya da bazen romantik bir ilişkiye başlamak demektir.

Okullarda ya da buluşmalarda sık görülür. 'Pair off with' daha samimi ve hızlı eşleşme anlamı taşır. 'Pair up' ile aynı değildir; belirli bir eşleşmeye vurgu yapar.
