Definition

নেমপ্লেট হচ্ছে একটি ছোট সাইন বা পাত, যেখানে কারো নাম, পদবি বা তথ্য লেখা থাকে এবং সাধারণত দরজা, ডেস্ক বা যন্ত্রের উপর লাগানো হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

মূলত অফিস, স্কুল ইত্যাদিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়; 'desk nameplate' মানে ডেস্কের উপর থাকা নেমপ্লেট, 'door nameplate' মানে দরজার উপরের নেমপ্লেট। 'nametag' (যা গায়ে পরা হয়) এর সাথে মিশিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
