Definition

실수로 인해 일이 실패하거나 엉망이 되거나 제대로 작동하지 않게 만들다; 망치다.

아주 비격식적이고 다소 구식 표현. 주로 미국 영어에서 사용됨. 'mess up'이나 'screw up'과 비슷. 사물, 계획, 상황에만 사용, 사람에게는 쓰지 않음.

I really loused up my presentation yesterday.

어제 발표를 정말 **망쳤어**.

Don’t louse up the recipe this time.

이번에는 레시피를 **망치지 마**.

He doesn’t want to louse up his big chance.
