愛玩犬イエスマン (比喩)

Definition

愛玩犬とは、膝の上で可愛がることが多い小型犬を指します。また、何でも言いなりになる人に対して皮肉的にも使われます。

犬の場合はフォーマルな表現ですが、人に対しては侮蔑的な比喩としてよく使われます。特に権力者の取り巻きを非難する際に「イエスマン」という意味で使われます。
