Definition

इधर-उधर कूदते हुए घूमना, अक्सर खेल या मस्ती में। कभी-कभी तेजी से गतिविधियाँ या विषय बदलने के लिए भी कहा जाता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह अनौपचारिक और जोशीला वाक्यांश है, ज़्यादातर बच्चों या जानवरों के लिए, पर मज़ाकिया स्थिति में बड़ों के लिए भी। शाब्दिक (शारीरिक) या रूपक (तेज़ी से विषय बदलना) दोनों हो सकता है। 'jump up and down' से अलग है, जो सिर्फ ऊपर-नीचे कूदना है।
