虫や動物、寄生虫などが場所に大量に現れて、害や迷惑を引き起こすこと。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に害虫やネズミなど、望ましくない動物に使う。人にはあまり使わない。例: 'infest with fleas', 'is infested with rodents'。「infect」とは意味が違うので注意。
