'Holing' é o ato de fazer um buraco em algo, ou no golfe, colocar a bola no buraco.

Usado principalmente em contextos técnicos, formais ou esportivos (especialmente no golfe: 'holing a putt'). Raro em conversas cotidianas para buracos comuns. Não confundir com 'holing up' (esconder-se), que é outra expressão.
