半球は、球体を二つに分けたときの一方の部分で、地球の北半球・南半球や、脳の左右の半球のことを指します。

主に科学・地理・医学分野で使われます。例えば「北半球/南半球」や「脳の右半球/左半球」など。日常会話ではあまり使いません。
