계속하다

중간에 멈췄거나 방해받은 후에도 하던 일을 계속하는 것.

구어와 문어 모두에서 자주 쓰인다. 상대방에게 계속하라고 권할 때나 잠시 멈춘 뒤 다시 시작할 때 사용하며, 주로 명사나 동명사가 뒤따른다.

Please go on with your story.

이야기를 **계속해 주세요**.
