"Fancying" significa sentir atracción o gusto por alguien (de forma romántica o física), desear algo, o imaginar algo en tu mente.

"Fancying" es informal y muy común en inglés británico para decir que te gusta alguien románticamente ('I'm fancying him/her'). También puede usarse para expresar ganas de algo ('fancying a coffee') o imaginarse algo, aunque lo más frecuente es el sentido romántico. En inglés americano no se usa mucho; allí es más común 'like' o 'have a crush on'.
