Definition

ছাদের যে অংশ দেওয়ালের ধারের বাইরে বেরিয়ে থাকে এবং পানি দূরে সরাতে সাহায্য করে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'eaves' সাধারণত বহুবচনে ব্যবহৃত হয়। বাড়িঘর বর্ণনা, স্থাপত্য বিষয়ে ও বৃষ্টি সংক্রান্ত কথায় বেশি দেখা যায়। 'eve' অথবা 'eve of'-এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
