おめかしする仮装する

Definition

特別なイベントやお祝いのためにいつもよりおしゃれな服や特別な格好をすること。仮装して別のものになる意味も含む。

カジュアルに使われる。普通の「着る」と違い、特別な手間やおしゃれ、コスプレのニュアンスがある。「get dressed up」は特に準備する感じ。

She got dressed up for the wedding.
