কাউকে বা কোনো কিছুকে জোরালোভাবে, প্রায়শই আনুষ্ঠানিক বা সরকারি ভাবে, খারাপ বা অন্যায় বলে প্রকাশ করা বা বিচারে দোষী ঘোষণা করা।

সাধারণ অপছন্দ নয়, বরং আনুষ্ঠানিক বা সামাজিকভাবে জোরালো বিরোধিতা বোঝায়। 'public condemnation', 'international condemnation' প্রায়শই ব্যবহৃত হয়।
