Ponerse derecho con los pies juntos y los brazos a los lados, normalmente por orden militar. También puede significar llamar la atención o hacer que alguien note algo.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Muy usado en contextos militares: 'ponerse firme'. En contextos no militares, puede usarse en sentido figurado para indicar que algo llama la atención. No confundir 'come to attention' (postura militar) con 'pay attention' (prestar atención: enfocarse).
