鐘の音チャイムの音

Definition

鐘や時計が鳴るような、澄んだ響きのある音。また、心地よい音色を表現する場合もある。

主に時計やベル、ウィンドチャイムなどの音に使う。声や笑い声など心地良い音にも使われる。'chiming in'（会話に加わる）とは意味が異なる。

The clock started chiming at noon.

時計が正午に**鐘の音**を鳴らし始めた。

I could hear the chiming of bells outside.
