オンラインやアプリで気軽に会話すること、特に文字でやり取りすること。

主にオンラインやメッセージアプリで使うカジュアルな表現。「〜とチャットする」「LINEでチャットする」など。対面や電話の「話す」とは違う場合が多いです。
