Definition
短くて高い電子音が鳴ること、またはテレビやラジオで不適切な言葉をその音で隠すこと。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
機械やアラームの音にも、放送禁止用語を隠す意味にも使われる。「bleeped out」はNGワードを隠す意味。
