～に手紙を書く～にメールを書く

Definition

誰かに手紙やメールなど文章で連絡すること。

'～に手紙を書く'は正式または半正式な場面で使う。紙の手紙やEメール両方に使えるが、短い伝言やメッセージには使わない。宛先を「～に」と示す必要がある。

I will write to my grandmother this weekend.
