逐漸損壞、削弱或使某人感到疲憊,可以指物理上的磨損,也可以指情緒上的消耗。

'wear down' 多用於口語,指緩慢損耗或逐步消磨某人意志。常用於物品(鞋底磨損)和心理(爭吵讓人疲憊)。不要和 'wear out' 混淆,'wear out' 表示完全使用完畢。
